Celebrate Two Years of Remedial Horror by Supporting A Good Cause (and perhaps winning something for yourself)

April marks the 2-year anniversary of Remedial Horror!  Thanks to all of those who have checked in on my inane ramblings from time to time, even as posts have been sporadic during my time here.  As I get started on my third year, I have a request in mind for an anniversary present.  The catch is it's not for me, and you'll have a chance of winning a bunch of presents yourself!

Today I'm announcing a giveaway for a fundraiser to benefit the Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence.  The DCADV, per their mission statement, is "a statewide, nonprofit organization of domestic violence agencies and individuals working to eliminate domestic violence."  They do a lot of fantastic work, but like any non-profit they need financial support.

I'm looking to provide that support, and that's where you come in.  I've started a Go Fund Me page with a goal of raising $1000 for the DCADV.  It's an aggressive goal, but I think I've got a good incentive for you to donate.

Once I hit $1000, I will have a drawing with everyone who donates being eligible for a massive bundle of prizes, including:
The Scarlet Gospels signed by Clive Barker

5"x7" Pinhead watercolor print signed by Doug Bradley

6 Month Subscription to Belladonna Magazine

Rue Morgue Magazine Prize Pack

Fright Rags "Posse of Insane Clowns" T-Shirt

Texas Chainsaw Massacre Lunchbox

Evil Dead Totebag

UPDATE:  Thanks to a very generous donation from author Adrian Roe, I'm offering a second drawing!  The winner of this drawing will receive both of Adrian's books, First Scream to the Last and Second Scream.

UPDATE #2:  Actress Julie Carmen, star of In the Mouth of Madness, has agreed to send a poster from the movie to one person who donates.

So now we will have not one, not two, but THREE winners, and the sooner we reach $1000, the sooner I hold the drawing.  So spread the word!  Tell your friends, tell your family, tell the person standing in front of you in line for coffee.

Also, I would like to give a huge thanks to Julie Carmen, The Horror Honeys, The Faculty of Horror, Fright Rags, and Adrian Roe for contributing prizes for this giveaway.  They're all amazing and if you're not familiar with their work, I highly recommend checking them out.
